Garmin advice?

Comments

[this is good]
I have the Garmin Forerunner 305, and love it. Thie model 305 comes with a heart rate monitor electrode strap, and the watch is fully customizabe, and you can download your run data to several programs....you can also program a "workout" to the watch, from your computer...which is a feature I really like alot. If you don't care about the heart rate monitoring capabilities, you could get the model 205.
I agree with Steve...the 305 is the way to go without a doubt. I think it's like an extra 80$ and you get the heart rate monitor.
I appreciate the advice. Just wondering: is the heart rate monitor really that useful and worth the extra money?
It's fairly useful data to have. Some find it useful to tell if you're actually working to your potential or not.

I personally had the 205 and it works well for me.
