It was the highlight of summer for my daughter and me... we had been wanting to visit Hawaii for so long and we finally went this summer. As you can see, we really really like the beaches.. mostly North Shore and Kailua.

Hooray Hawaii! My boy is from there, however not a real touristy part of the island. I love it and wish we could move back there. Glad you had fun! I love the photo of yourself and your daughter. Too cute!

Thanks for the comment!!! We absolutely loved the non-touristy part of Oahu - the North Shore being our favorite. Wish we could go back soon but it probably will be a couple of years. I would move there if I could myself.

Yeah!! Go back!! :) I enjoy it every time. My favorite beach is on North Shore, it's called Sandy Beach. Have you been to Sandy's? If not, check it out next time! It's not great for swimming because it's shallow and the waves are usually harsh, but the sand is perfect and it's beautiful. :)
